Quick History

A group of musicians which unites to form an entity. An entity that strives to create and evolve the cumulative musical influences of its members' into a sound that is both unique and alive. That living musical entity is 16 Stitches.


16 Stitches began its musical genesis in 2000. The band was conceived within the minds of its creators James Garretson (guitar), Jeff Adler (vocals), and Jake Casey (guitar.) In its first year of development 16 Stitches fostered talent but it was not until the end of that first year of growth that both Mark Flores (drums) and Tim Callahan (bass) were assimilated into 16 Stitches. Tim through his writing and performance helped to feed the band in its youth and although Tim no longer plays the bass for 16 Stitches he continues to contribute as the band's web master. Always striving to evolve 16 Stitches integrated Pat Bailey (bass) to complete the band's sound. 16 Stitches continues its ambitious intent to entice and invade all who bear witness to the band's evolutionary journey and the legions of its musical creations.
